This week we are starting a 30 day Health Challenge. We are cutting out sugar, dairy, gluten, grains (including GF), and alcohol. We are focusing on more than just cutting things out, but also implementing some new foods and routines into our diet like fermented foods, adequate amount of water, kombucha, bone broth, and more, like getting enough sleep!
This challenge will allow us to hopefully figure out some Jared’s sensitivities, start the repair of our guts and also really look into our “relationship” with food. Like why do we really eat a bedtime snack (or five!) or eating something sweet every night? Eating mindfully is something I’m really looking to try to do during these next 30 days!
Menu Plan Monday:
Monday: Butternut squash IP chili
Tuesday: Pulled pork with home fries and green beans (seriously, so good!!)
Wednesday: Chicken wings (B1G1 this week at Publix), roasted broccoli and carrots
Thursday: Chicken taco bowls/salads with chicken breasts, sweet potato, spinach, salsa, avocado, caramelized onions and peppers!
