I am SO glad that we decided to post these on the blog. It has really helped keep us accountable and on budget! One area we always over spend is on food! And I absolutely hate that.
So, posting the meals and recipes that we are cooking is so good for us.
This week we did some major meal prep and will be continuing that weekly on Sundays. Those meals will be used mostly for lunches, but some for dinner once or twice, too!
This week’s meal prep included:
- Chicken Adobo
- Turmeric Garlic Rice
- Roasted broccoli with Primal Palate’s Adobo Seasoning (YUM!)
- Chili using Primal Palate’s BBQ seasoning and homemade taco seasoning
- Mexican Beef!
Here’s what we plan on doing for dinner this week!
Monday: Chili (from meal prep) over frozen hash browns
Wednesday: Fed and Fit’s Slow Cooker Barbacoa with roasted brussel sprouts and baked potatoes
Friday: Paleo Thai Red Curry Soup over white rice
Saturday: Momma’s night out (with a friend!) so Jared and Cooper will eat leftovers!
Sunday: Meat sauce with zoodles
Once again, I can’t recommend the Instant Pot enough!! We did the all of the meat from meal prep using it! Check it out!!
